I've said this many times before and I stand by this...we have had the amazing pleasure of working with some very talented musicians.  I'm personally very honored for having met them and to have been on stage with them. 

The last couple of months have seen a change of heart in the direction of the band.  The primary drive has been to reach stardom and experience the glamour of a rock and roll star.  Well, the goal remains the same, however, it no longer holds the top spot of what we are trying to achieve.  Betrayed By Sorrow will not hide the fact that we are a Christian Hard Rock band...and proud to be so.  We still have the desire to reach the stars and join the rock and roll elite, but those goals will always be subject to the will of God.

Our music will be made with the same, if not more, intensity as it has been.  In fact, i believe the music will continue to grow bigger and better than it has been.  The new members have joined BBS with an intent to display and prove their God given talents.  To make themselves known and be used as a tool for the Lord and a testimony to his greatness.

As for the message of our music, I will continue to write lyrics the same way I have done so in the past.   I have never written with a specific purpose or subject in mind.  I have simply let Jon's music and melodies direct me.  I know that God has manifested his spirit to intervene in the way that the lyrics develop through the music, and I trust that the message of the lyrics will continue to relate to those who listen to our songs. 

I have received many emails and comments from our fans, telling us they are praying for us and/or wishing us well...THANK YOU!
